Pacific Weavers Makes Acquisition
December 10, 2001
Garden City, NY (USA)- Pacific Weavers announced has completed a deal for ownership of the Dallas-based jobber, Fairmount Fabrics, according to Pacific Weavers vice president Barry Sendach. Pacific Weavers will run Fairmount as a separate business from its Garden City headquarters.
A distributor of decorative fabrics, Pacific Weavers bought assets of Fairmount, including its inventory and rights to the name.
Pacific Weavers will keep Fairmount's inventory at its Garden City facilities. "The synergies are matched," Sendach said. "We are very happy to have it."
Sendach said that Fairmount's products will continue to be available through its independent representatives and through 26 independently owned showrooms. F&FI
