Morris Jackson/Fairfield Mills Closes

January 5, 2017

LANCASHIRE, UK—Morris Jackson/Fairfield Mills has closed its doors here as a converter of decorative fabrics according to Michael Joseph, one of the three principals. The 60 plus year old company may continue to do business in some form and will retain the ownership of its intellectual property in the form of an extensive design archive, Joseph says. Soft retail market conditions forced the closing of Fairfield Mills, Joseph says but he expects to continue in the business as a textiles sales agent. He will announce his plans in the near future.
