Mohawk Unveils New Collections

NEW YORK, New York - The Mohawk Group hosted Hospitality Design Expo and NeoCon previews in its New York City Showroom this month. The Mohawk Group's big splash NeoCon products will be featured along with the designers who creted them. The Mohawk Group's showroom will feature Karastan Contract's music-inspired Classical collection, Lees Carpets' Places and Spaces collection designed in Collaboration with HOK, and Bigelow Commercial's history-inspired collection designed with Chicago-based Holabird and Root.
Mohawk has also announced that this year at Hospitality Design Expo, Durkan will unveil its latest carpet collections by designer Todd Oldham. The four designs will be named Haberdashery, Facets, Concentrics and Metropolis.
Todd Oldham, a famous clothing and recent interiors designer, will be available for autographs at HDE on May 15th from 10AM to noon.
Mohawk will also host the event ''A Party Patterned After You'' at the Las Vegas Hard Rock on May 15th, from 8PM - 11 PM.
Durkan is Mohawk's hospitality-specific brand name, and 80-85% of Durkan products are custom-made for designers and clients.
Durkan will also showcase the Synthesis Collection at HDE. It is the industry's first and only texture overprint base grade carpet, which allows for overprinting on textured, raised surface.
