LAFAYETTE, IN.—Mitchell Fabrics, LLC has purchased Michael’s Textiles Company, a 50 year old fabric, hardware and trim jobber as of July 31.

“Michaels Textiles will enable us to leverage our entire infrastructure, supply base and product offering,” according to Don DeWitt, Vice President of Mitchell Fabrics.

“We plan to keep the brands separate…and enhance Michaels Textiles’ product offering in new categories,” he says.

Joel Lessem, the previous owner of Michaels and Sheldon Delsack, Vice President of Sales & Marketing could not be reached for comment.
