New Delhi -- Micro Fibre Super Soft and Rainbow collection are the latest from Adorn, a brand from the house of Nupur Carpets & Antique Art Exports Pvt. Ltd.
These attractive new carpets have been produced using micro fibre, polyester yarn and wastage fabric in a wide range of colours. These are available in the price range of USD 15 to USD 25 per sq mtr (FOB) depending on the product.
Adorn specializes in handmade tufted and shaggy rugs. It also deals in natural silk carpets from Kashmir. Adorn has a major base of clientele set in Europe. “However, we are striving very hard to expand our products in US, Canada and South America, where we think that we can get good prospects for our products,” says Ashok Jain, Chairman of the company who was, formerly, ex-Chairman of CEPC (Carpet Export Promotion Council). He is also, currently, Executive Member- Managing Comittee, FIEO (Federation Of Indian Export Organisations).
“As far as, expansion plans are concerned, we are regularly participating in world famous international exhibitions and traveling to new countries for expansion of market of our products,” explains Jain.
Jain states that, for the Indian home furnishing manufacturers and suppliers, the best way to stand strong in the international market is to supply quality product at reasonable price. “Since, India is facing stiff competition from neighbouring countries like China, Pakistan and Nepal in similar products, therefore, it would be really beneficial for Indian home furnishing market to supply quality products at reasonable prices,” he opines.
Forecasting the future of the Indian home furnishings export market, Jain says that it is difficult to predict anything for the year 2013 as business conditions are not very favourable, especially, in Europe for last few years. “However, we can only hope that 2013 brings fruitful results for our Indian Home Textile Industry in India and International Market.,” he says.
