November 16, 2007
DORAL, Florida – Multinational tile and design firm, Mediterranea, has recently expanded its offerings of domestically-produced, factory direct, commercial and residential porcelain.
The company has focused its efforts on this domestic production in order to help its nationwide distribution network avoid issues and costs associated with overseas importing. The efforts will also help to reduce the amount of money tied up in inventory, reduce the lead time and help ensure consistent, on-time deliveries.
Mediterranea is now producing products in the categories of porcelain in glazed, colored body and through-body technical. The company has been designing and producing tile in collaboration with factories in Spain, Italy, Brazil, Turkey, Argentina and the U.S. for the last ten years.
