May 29, 2014
OLGIATE COMASCO, IT--Marco de Benedetti, export manager for Clerion SpA in Mariano Comense, Italy for the past five years, is leaving the company May 30 to take on the responsibility as the Manager of the decorative fabrics division of Boselli & Co., a textile conglomerate.
He starts his new position June 3.
Boselli showed at Proposte 2014 for the first time while Clerion did not show at Proposte this year.
At 117 years old, Boselli is one of Italy's oldest companies. Boselli, a producer of apparel and industrial fabrics, started up a decorative fabrics division 20 years ago and has hired de Benedetti to “develop, expand and manage it with the financial support to bring its vision to fruition,” he said in a ‘farewell’ letter to customers.
The letter went on to say: “Over the next weeks and months I hope to be in contact with each of you with greater detail. But in the meantime I want to assure you that when I leave Clerion…your current and future projects will remain in Raniero's (Rossetti) capable hands and oversight.
