May 31, 2013
New York, NY - M-J Ramos has joined Wearbest Mills Inc. as director of merchandising for its Bella-Dura® line of outdoor fabrics.
She reports to Wearbest CEO Irwin Gasner.
Ramos brings 20 years of textiles design experience to Wearbest. She began her career at Sunbury Textile Mills and later moved on to become the creator of the Highland Court brand, the high-end division of Duralee Fabrics Inc.
“I specialize in working with textile manufacturers, trimming mills, wholesale distributors and private companies around the world,“ Ramos remarked. “My passion is to bring these companies to ‘the next level’ in their business by creating new ranges of decorative products, new collections and color stories.”
Bella-Dura fabrics are made in the USA, just twenty minutes outside of New York City by Wearbest Mills, a fifth-generation, family-owned mill. Bella-Dura reportedly surpasses other indoor/outdoor fabrics in the marketplace today by exceeding 1,500 hours light fastness (UV stability) and 50,000 double-rubs, Gasner said.
