Chorley, Lancashire, UK—Andrew Lewis has succeeded Matthew Crew as Managing Director of Beaumont Textiles here.
Crew held this post since 2019. Prior to joining Beaumont, Crew was managing director of Crowson Fabrics Ltd. for almost 16 years, from 1985 to 2001, where he facilitated the rapid growth of the business to become a market leader in the 1990s.
Lewis was previously export manager of Crowson Fabrics Ltd. In the UK from 1993-1997 where he reported to Matthew Crew. Since then he has had a variety of jobs outside of the fabrics industry.
Beaumont has been owned by Ahmet Al Guthmi since 2017. Al Guthmi is also the principal of Al Guthmi Textile Co., the largest retailer/wholesaler of home fabrics in the Middle East based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Al Guthmi has three stores in Jeddah and a fourth outlet in its Jeddah-based warehouse.
