NEW YORK, NY — Liz Karp has left her position as sales director of Weave Textiles LLC based here after 35 years with the company.

She joined Weave in 1977 in the drapery division and at one point was vice president of sales and marketing in the upholstery division.  She was well known to the jobber trade and  reported to Robin Slough, president of American Silk and Weave. When reached, Slough said she had “no comment” about this development. She also would not say whether or not Karp would be replaced and suggested F&FI should speak with John Sullivan, chairman of both companies. He could not be reached for comment. Karp also could not be reached for comment.

The two companies merged facilities in Plains, PA last year after an investor group headed by John Sullivan purchased Weave in 2010.
