Joan Fabrics Corporation Announces Personnel Changes

July 28, 2003

Joan Fabrics Corporation has made a series of personnel moves intended to strengthen its resource management structure, the company said. Ray King has taken over the responsibility of executive vice president of sales for the decorative product lines of Mastercraft, Home Fabrics, Main Street Textiles and Joan Fabrics.

The selling agents of all companies will report directly to King while the design and development teams will report to McCallum.

"The time has come for us to present to our customers a unified approach to the commercial side of our business and at the same time protect our design integrity through our multiple labeling effort," said Elkin McCallum, chairman of Joan Fabrics Corporation.

"Ray King is the perfect individual to represent our various business units in the market. He has the experience in all of our product lines and will work very closely with me to grow our franchise on a global basis."

In related moves by the Tynsboro, Mass-based company, Penny Richards has assumed the responsibility of president and COO of all supply chain management, information services as well as general operational functions.

Kerry McCallum, formerly president of companies' internal supply group, takes the position of president of fabric operations.
