JK Fabrics Makes Home Textiles Debut with High-End Silk at Heimtextil

BANGALORE, India — High-end silk producer JK Fabrics PVT Ltd. will debut jacquards, satins, dobbies and embroideries with their first major decorative home textiles push during Heimtextil, January 10-13.
JK Fabrics has been exporting apparel fabrics for 30 years. According to the company, their customers abroad demanded flawless furnishing silks for some time—and they've decided to answer the call.
"The market's need for such flawless silk collections encouraged us invest in the latest European equipments and a complete vertical infrastructure where we have total control at every stage of production. This has ensured that our collections are luxurious and meeting the demand of the most discerning global customers," said Kishore Jain, director, JK Fabrics.
Twisting dyeing, weaving and finishing are all processed in house, at JK Fabrics, as the company does not want to sacrifice its high-end quality by outsourcing any portion of its manufacturing process. The installed capacity is 300,000 meters a year comprising of jacquards, satins, dobbies, stripes/checks and embroidery—targeting both home décor and contact/hospitality market segments.
"We have chosen new dorniers, staubli for weaving in 320 cm width with repeat widths of 65 cm and barudan for embroidery as producing flawless luxury silk splendor has to be on latest technology-based equipments and we are fully geared to satisfy our customers and offer world class silk collections," he said.
During Heimtextil in Frankfurt, the company is looking to forge business alliances in the American market, Europe and the rest of the world.
