Industry Gears Up for January Home Textiles Market

WHITE PLAINS, New York – From Jan. 23 to 29, several locations in New York including the New York International Gift Fair (NYGIF) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center will host traveling buyers for the semi-annual market for mid to high-end home textiles.
Other locations for Home Textiles Market Week will include Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 90, 92 and 94, 230 Fifth Avenue and 7 W New York. The market is set to feature more than 500 home textiles suppliers with the newest in decorative fabrics, bed and bath fashions, kitchen textiles, decorative accessories and window treatments.
During the week, several industry-specific events are planned including educational seminars like "Color Pulse 2010," sponsored by IFDA and, "It's Easy Being, Building, Buying & Selling Green," presented by Metropolis Magazine and events like the Gift for Life Stakes are High Casino to benefit DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.
