Heritage House

October 4, 2004

NEW YORK, New York—The Sunshine family, Bernard, wife Marge and daughter Rachel have sold International Textile Corp., (ITC) their 30 year old company to Heritage House Fabrics LLC based in Concord, North Carolina and owned by Thomas Hilb.

The deal was consummated in the wee hours of the weekend and was made effective as of October 1. Marge Sunshine confirmed the company had been sold.

ITC was known for its ability to bring in imported product from all over the world. It was especially known for its exciting prints which it sold to American jobbers from companies like the Dutch printer Texoprint, most notably and more recently, Goeters of Belgium. In all of these deals, ITC was the exclusive agent and importer of the line.

Marge and Bernard were seen at the New York City Opera three days earlier but no mention was made of the pending sale.

It is expected that the Sunshines will retire in the near future.
