Heimtextil Caters to Contract Sector
January 2, 2009
FRANKFURT, Germany – With Heimtextil Frankfurt less than two weeks away, visitors from the contract sector should start to plan their trip through the fair's many halls and various contract textile options by using Heimtextil's techno-savvy web tools.
This year more than ever, Messe Frankfurt, the fair's organizer, is putting heavy focus on contract textiles with its "Contract Creations" portion of the show. In order to streamline the visitor experience, Messe Frankfurt has created a special website specifically for the contract textile buyer. While the site has been up and running for more than two months, buyers with last minute organizational skills can still take advantage of it at www.contact-contract.com.
The Internet portal provides search options which only target the suppliers offering contract goods. Also available is a "Contract Guide," in a small size handy for designers to carry through the show. It details stands and numbers as well as European textile standards and gives informative statements for the contract sector.
