WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI — Guy H. Parmentier has joined Crypton® as Director of International Sales, according to Randy Rubin, President of Crypton.

Parmentier brings considerable experience to the position.  The eldest son in the third generation of a prominent European textile family from Belgium, Parmentier spent his early career with some of Europe’s largest import companies and with start-ups.  He has spent the past two decades consulting with textile companies throughout Europe and the Mediterranean and building export businesses, overseeing weaving, dyeing and finishing mill operations and directing sales efforts for multi-million dollar enterprises. 

Most recently, Parmentier has been focused on producing commercial upholstery fabrics for the residential and contract/hospitality market segments and establishing joint venture.  Concurrent to his commitment to Crypton, Parmentier also will be continuing his work with Tosunoglu Tekstil.

Parmentier is a graduate in International Business Management and Export Management from VDAD-VLEKO.  He and his family will continue to reside in Belgium as he begins this new chapter with Crypton International.
