George Little Management to Launch ''Sources''
February 22, 2002
White Plains, NY (USA) - George Little Management LLC, the organizer of consumer product tradeshows in North America, has announced the launch of a new exhibition for 2003. Named "Sources," the exhibition aims to bring together non-U.S. exporters of gift, home furnishings and decorative accessories with U.S.-based volume buyers.
GLM expects the maiden edition of Sources (18-20 May 2003) to feature approximately 300 exhibitors and draw 5,000 attendees. Exhibitors will present a wide range of gifts, souvenirs, home furnishings, decorative accessories, handcrafts and private label apparel.
"This offers an opportunity for companies base outside of the United States to sell to volume buyers, distributors and importers that they may not otherwise be able to reach," said Tony Lee, vice president sales and marketing. "It also offers U.S.-based companies a chance to find a multiplicity of international resources in one New York-based location, rather than making many separate overseas buying trips."
The launch of Sources has been timed to coincide with four GLM-produced trade shows: the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, the National Stationery Show, The Supply Side and Surtex, all of which run 17-21 May, 2003 at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Center.
