GLM Expands Teams for Two Global Shows
September 5, 2007
WHITE PLAINS, New York – George Little Management (GLM) has announced the expansion of their team structure for the company's global business ventures with new business appointments and additional global representatives.
Penny Sikalis, GLM vice president, will server as show manager for the Global Home Textiles and Global Home Décor shows. Global Home Décor, which will launch in May of next year at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, was added to the roster as a result of an international demand. "We're launching this because there is a need for a sourcing show in the U.S.," said Sikalis. "People don't want to keep traveling all over." For both global shows, Rita Malek will serve as assistant show manager.
Jaime Kelly and Nicole Johnson have been appointed show coordinators for Global Home Textiles and Global Home Décor, and Alessia Adler will provide sales assistance for the two shows in addition to coordinating sales for Surtex.
GLM has also expanded their reach in Asia by assigning sub-agents in India, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan and Pakistan. They are also exploring further partnerships with non-Asian territories.
