NEW YORK--Patterson, Flynn & Martin, the carpet and rug division of F. Schumacher & Co., is getting some extra help from Stephen Puschel, primary Principal of the 127 year old decorative old jobber which has always been privately held by the same family for its entire existence. Stephen is the fifth generation to own the company.
He is the son of Gerald Puschel, Chairman of the Board F. Schumacher & Co.
Puschel has taken over the role of Vice President of Sales for Patterson, Flynn & Martin and has left the running of the F. Schumacher business in the hands of President Benjamin Frowein who joined the company as a consultant last February and was named President in March.
Patterson, Flynn & Martin has been in the business of creating custom carpets and rugs since 1943. It was acquired by F. Schumacher as a second brand.
