NEW YORK, New York — F. Schumacher & Co., the design house and marketer of luxury textiles and decorative interior products, has appointed Terri Eagle to president and CEO effective immediately.

Previously, Eagle was president and CEO of Garrard Holdings Limited and Stephen Webster Limited. The announcement marks the second time in 30 years that the position has been held by a non-family member of F. Schumacher & Co. Before her tenure at Garrard Holdings Limited, Eagle served as president and CEO of John Hardy USA and held several senior management positions at David Yurman, including Chief Operating Officer. Her career began at L'Oreal USA and along the way she has held executive positions at Revlon Inc. and Montblanc North America.

In the first quarter of 2010, Gerald W. Puschel, the fourth generation president and CEO announced to the Board of Directors of his intention to retire by the end of the year. He will remain with the company as Chairman of the Board. The company was established in 1889 by French ex-patriot, Frederic Schumacher.
