Enduratex Expands to Europe
June 21, 2010
MIRA LOMA, California – Enudratex, a company known for its vinyl coated fabrics, announced today its foray into the European upholstery market. The move will make sharing of product lines easier to serve the European marketplace, according to Jeff Post, vice president and general manager of the parent company, China General Plastics Corporation of America (CGPC).
“Enduratex is unique to the European marketplace,” Post said. “With this expansion, China General America and China General Europe will have access to each other’s extensive product line. In accordance with the strict European upholstery standards, all products distributed in Europe will be CRIB V, ROHS and REACH tested and approved.”
London-based China General Europe serves Eastern and Western Europe through a network of distributors. Roger Eastham, vice president and general manager of CGPC Europe, will head the European efforts.
Enduratex, which is already well-established in the automotive, hospitality, marine, and healthcare industries, is headquartered in the Mira Loma area of Southern California. It has four product warehouses in the United States -- Atlanta, Cincinnati, and two in Los Angeles – and its parent company, CGPC, is headquartered in Taiwan and part of a $1.6 billion corporation that is publicly traded on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
