Duralee Expands, Accomodates Fine Furniture Manufacturing

BAY SHORE, New York — Just two years after Duralee Fabrics Ltd. introduced Duralee Fine Furniture, the company is expanding to meet its manufacturing needs.
The 180,000 square foot facility sits on 32 acres in Morganton, North Carolina.
"We are cautiously optimistic. We have needed additional space for some time and we believe now is the right time," said Lee Silberman, CEO.
The facility will also serve as a warehouse for the Duralee and Highland Court lines.
"The new facility will become a source for production to keep up with our growth," said Peter Mandel, director or product development.
