Downing Leaves Werner International

Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. (USA) — Richard Downing, has left his position as consultant at Werner International and joined a startup textiles company. Downing, who asked F&FI to withhold both the name of the company and his role in it until a later date, said he would come clean with more information for the record in early 2001. He was previously with Bassett Furniture and Cone Mills.
