Delta Takes Eco-Friendly Step Toward Water Conservation

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – One of the largest manufacturers of commercial and residential faucets, the Delta Faucet Company has announced an innovative, environmentally-friendly technology to be implemented in several new faucets.
The Water-Efficient Showerhead with H20Kinetic Technology has been designed specifically to meet the needs of eco-conscious hospitality customers. When used in Delta's faucets, the H20Kinetic Technology lessens the amount of water usage by about 36 percent. Where standard faucets use about 2.5 gallons of water per minute, the new Water-Efficient Showerhead uses only 1.6.
In designing this new technology, Delta considered the customer's shower experience and found ways to cut water usage significantly while still providing a satisfying shower. The technology uses larger droplets which propel from the faucet at higher velocities. The spray coverage was also engineered to be denser and each water droplet is meant to maintain a more uniform temperature when traveling away from the showerhead.
The H20Kinetic Technology is currently available on two custom shower systems in Delta's Brizo, Vesi and Quiessence brands as well as in some other Delta product offerings.
