GHENT, Belgium — Will Decosit-DecoContract be organized in Hong Kong? We contacted Patrick Geysels, general manager of organizing Textirama, to get the true story. He strongly denied rumors that Decosit-DecoContract is planning to move, but confirmed there are plans to put up an Asian version of the show.

"It's too early to give all of the details, but yes, we are planning to create a subsidiary show by next spring in Hong Kong. The plans are to create an annual show, which looks exactly the same as the show in Brussels, with a limited number of exhibitors, who will be selected among the exhibitors that are already exhibiting in Brussels," said Geysels. "But to make this very clear: no decision has been taken yet. We are conducting a feasibility study right now and it will only be after the results of this study are known that a decision will be made."

According to Geysels, the best way to deny the rumors is to give the dates for the next edition of Decosit-DecoContract in Brussels.

"You can tell your readers to note down September 9 through September 12 in their agenda's," Geysels concluded. "Their place of destination is Brussels, guaranteed!"
