Davis to Launch Living Space

December 10, 2001

Newlands, Cape Town (SA) - Bill Davis, principal of the Trade Link Company, is launching Living Space this Spring (12-14 March), an exhibition in Newlands, South Africa.

The exhibitor list has continued to grow since Living Space was announced in September (at TIP). According to a press release from the organizer Trade Link Company, 90% of South Africa's annual revenue in the interior textiles sector is represented.

The exhibition which will be held exclusively for international visitors, includes a number of smaller companies who will exhibit alongside larger businesses. Companies like Frame Manufacturers, SBH Cotton Mills, Wm Eachus and Castellano Beltrame are well known to many of the world's buyers as suppliers of high volume quality products. Trade Link says that the presence of companies such as Dali Tambo, Fabric Library, The Four Poster, Court Fabrics and Chelsea Harbour gives the exhibition variation and depth.

"It is sometimes from some of the smaller interior textile houses, however, that the flavors and intense color palettes of South Africa's ethnic handwriting seem to be most intensely reflected," Trade Link said. The organizer has added another Pavilion to the purpose built village at the Kelvin Grove Club, exclusively to provide a platform for these companies.
