NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, UK—David Canovan, MD of the Villa Nova brand/division of Romo, one of the largest fabric wholesalers in the world, has announced his retirement in 2018 timed to his 60th birthday. A Romo spokesperson confirmed this fact while Canovan is currently on a month-long holiday. Canovan is recognized as the leader who built Villa Nova into an Important mass market label for Romo in the past 25 years he has worked for the company. He was present at the last Proposte Fair in Como and will actively train his successor who is not identified at this time.
