Dan Payne Named National Sales Manager for The Mitchell Group

Sales management professional Dan Payne has been named National Sales Manager for The Mitchell Group, it was announced today by Bill Fisch, President.
Payne, who reports to Fisch, will be responsible for Mitchell’s overall sales performance, with a goal of increasing market share in its residential and contract-hospitality divisions. Additionally, he will oversee the sales and distribution of an extensive new residential product line, as well as the growth of Mitchell’s existing Sta-Kleen® and ReCast® categories.
In making the announcement Fisch said, “Dan brings strategic sales management experience to Mitchell, at a time when we’re creatively developing and expanding our line. His ability to customers and identify opportunities is in keeping with our philosophy. We’re thrilled he’s joining the Mitchell team.”
Initially, Payne will be based in Newport, R.I., where he resides, but will eventually relocate his office to the New York metropolitan area.
Dan Payne has more than 22-years of diversified sales and marketing experience with 12-years of sales management expertise. Most recently, he was National Sales Manager, Residential, for the Victor Group, a North America textile manufacturer, headquartered in Falls River, MA. Previously, he was Vice President, Residential Sales for The Robert Allen Group. Payne received his B.A. in Marketing/Finance from the University of Denver, in Colorado.
