D’Décor’s Sanjay Arora Family Launches SANSAAR ™ Brand Fabric Line

MUMBAI, INDIA—D’Décor Exports Pvt Ltd. has launched ‘SANSAAR™’ a new domestic and international curtain and upholstery fabric brand with expected first year sales in the $12 million range according to Sanjay Arora, Managing Director and principal.
The environmentally based “live consciously” theme of SANSAAR is the hallmark of the collection of the extensive upholstery, curtain and multipurpose decorative fabric collection which makes heavy use of recycled materials. The family ‘team’ members who developed the collection are Sanjay (dad); Ina (mom); and their two daughters Sanjana and Sarah.
The SANSAAR brand will be sold through D’Décor’s retail sales network of 300 dealers in India and will also be rolled out internationally later in 2025 according to Sanjay Arora who is also an owner of the parent company D’Décor. The average price of the new collection to the retailer is $8.00US per meter
D’Décor is the largest volume producer of home furnishings fabrics in the world with sales in the $250 million range according to Fabrics & Furnishings International estimates.
The Arora family members involved in the new ‘SANSAAR’ effort are Ina Arora, Sanjay’s wife and Director of Product Development; Sanjana Arora, Sanjay’s oldest daughter and Business Head and Sarah Arora, Creative Director and co-founder of the SANSAAR brand.
The product range focuses on sustainability and the use of recycled materials, the company says.
SANSAAR is backed by an online, television and print advertising campaign featuring the Indian film star Ranveer Singh with the theme of ‘Live Consciously.’
