NEW YORK, New York — Covington Fabric & Design, LLC has appointed Stuart Schneider to general manager, international sales, effective immediately.

After receiving his B.S. from UCLA in 1984, Schneider began his career at Quaker Fabrics. He then moved to Chatham Mills, where he served as international sales manager. Among some of the more notable companies that he served prior to joining Covington, Schneider worked for a period at Enzo Degli Anguioni of Milan, Italy.

"The textiles business world-wide is in a process of dynamic change as emerging markets become ever more important not only from the supply-side but from the demand-side as well," said Mark Kahan, chairman and CEO of Covington. "We are well served to employ so astute an observer of these trends as Stuart Schneider."

In his new role, Schneider will report to Tom Bruno, vice president of marketing and sales.
