New York - Alexandra Champalimaud & Associates has just won a coveted ''Gold Key Award'' for the design of the lobby of the Loews Hotel in New Orleans.

Principal and president Alexandra Champalimaud is recognized as one of the worlds leading hotel designers. She has recently completed renovations of the Algonquin Hotel in New York and The Savoy Hotel in London.

Champalimaud is a full service design and interior architecture firm which has just designed its first fabric line for Kravet Fabrics, the major wholesaler and converter in Bethpage, N.Y.
