December 10, 2001
Burlington, NC (USA) - Burlington House, a division of Burlington Industries, Inc., has combined its residential upholstery group with its commercial interiors group to form Burlington Interior Fabrics.
"The new Burlington Interiors Fabrics group brings together the styling and design strengths of upholstery and contract fabrics with shared sales and customer service capabilities," said Burlington House president Ganley. "Previously these businesses duplicated some sales territories and serviced many of the same customers while maintaining separate product development and design areas. This new structure combines and leverages these resources for more efficient and comprehensive service to our customers."
Mike Durham, who received an MBA from Harvard, has been named executive vice president for Burlington Interior Fabrics, reporting to Ganley. Keith Blough, formerly business manager for Interiors, has been named Vice president/key accounts manager reporting to Durham.
Durham joined Burlington in 1990 and has worked in several positions at the company including national sales manager and vice president of sales.
Burlington House produces both fabrics and consumer products for interior furnishings including mattress fabrics, upholstery fabrics, contract fabrics, window fashions, bedding products and bath accessories. Burlington Industries is a large diversified manufacturer of softgoods for apparel and interior furnishings.F&FI
