Boyd and dmg Plan Major Textile Event for 2005

August 5, 2004

LONDON, England—Simon Boyd and dmg world media will launch a major interior textiles exhibition, called Interior Mode, September 27-29, 2005, in the Grand Hall at Olympia, the prominent exhibition center in London.

Interior Mode will replace ShowRoom, a home furnishings show that ran in Manchester for the last three years.

Our aim is to create an exciting international home textile exhibition that will unite the U.K. textile industry. It is imperative that we provide an effective and prestigious platform from which the industry can promote its products to U.K. and overseas buyers," said Boyd, who is responsible for running the show, its marketing and organization.

Interior Mode will exhibit bed linen, curtains, furnishing fabrics, bathroom accessories and textiles, kitchen textiles, wall coverings, trimmings, throws, filled products, floor coverings and window treatments.

"We are delighted to be working with Simon Boyd on Interior Mode and see this as a great opportunity for dmg world media to extend our involvement with the textiles industry in the U.K," said Brenda Daly, executive vice president of dmg world media, the international media and publishing company in the U.K.
