Belding Hausman: Zarin Resigns, Morton Steps In

Lincolnton, NC (USA) – Nancy Zarin has resigned from her post as president and CEO Belding Hausman Incorporated. She held the position for eight years. Bill Morton, who has served on the company's board since its acquisition from Belding Heminway in 1996, has been appointed the new president and CEO by the company's board of directors.
"Nancy has built Belding into an integrated textiles manufacturer with three plants in Virginia and North Carolina," said company chairman Arthur W. Hollingsworth. "She has significantly expanded the company's product offerings from its core drapery line to contract, wide-width and yarn sales. We are apprecitave of Nancy's service to the company and wish her every success in her new endeavors.
Morton has more than 40 years of textile industry management experience, according to a company press release. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Mission Valley Textiles, Inc., a yarn-dyed textile manufacturer based in New Braunfels, Texas.
"It has been a pleasure to be a sharholder and director of Belding over the last five years," Morton said. "I have a great deal of respect for the employees and management of the company. I look forward to building on the fine legacy set by Nancy Zarin."
