Barmer, Rajasthan – BKN, a brand from the house of Barmer Kala Niketan popular in Rajasthan for offering handblock printed home furnishings has introduced curtain cloths in its product portfolio. It has also recently launched handicraft cushion covers and bedsheets.

These are 100% cotton curtain cloths available in a wide range of colours red, blue, off-white, maroon, white, orange, mustard, brick red and more. Available in the range of Rs 200 for every 2.5 metres, the curtains also come at negotiable prices depending on the size. The curtains have been tested for colour fastness and can endure regular washes.

“We offer two different qualities of cotton cloth for different products and we can produce various items on client demand (size, quality, colour combination etc.),” says Naveen Khatri, Brand Manager at BKN. The company works with 1600 metres of curtain cloth per month.

Double Bed Sheets with Pillow Covers

BKN also has single and double bedsheets, diwan sets, table cloths and cushion covers in its offerings. Its bedsheets are available at price range that starts from Rs. 450, and luxurious glazed cotton collection of double bedsheets at Rs. 850. Its diwan sets with cushion covers are available at Rs. 450, Rs. 500 and Rs. 850 for glazed cotton sets. BKN is looking forward to exporting in the international market and increasing its production capacity.

Barmer Kala Niketan has been in the home furnishing business since 1987. It was initially started as a handblock printing company in the Barmer district of Rajasthan. Founded by Dalichand Khatri, the business is spreading wings under the leadership of his son Ramlal Khatri and grandson Naveen Kumar Khatri.
