Astrup Takes on the Web
March 19, 2007
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Astrup, a supplier of materials used in the manufacture of awnings, marine products, umbrellas, signs, tents and indoor and outdoor furniture, has just launched its web component, astruphospitality.com.
The website was launched in hopes to educate architects and facility managers on the different offerings from Astrup. The company also hopes it will provide specifiers and interior designers within the hospitality industry with information and design resources.
One of the highlights of the site is that it offers customers the ability to browse through online showrooms, such as that for their High Point collection of Sunbrella fabrics and Companion trims. Astrup offers this line of high-performance fabrics for the creation of indoor and outdoor furniture, cushions, pillows, market umbrellas and other items. The online showroom also gives the option for users to request free fabric samples.
Astrup president, Jeffrey W. Kirk, said that the launch of astruphospitality.com allows the company to "speak directly to designers and architects," and to address their needs.
