Anti-microbial, flame retardant curtains from Window Techs

New Delhi -- Window Techs India Pvt. Ltd, a company that has been serving Indian and international healthcare sector for more than two decades now, has introduced its all new anti-microbial flame retardant patient privacy curtains in India.
Bringing to light the fact that most hospital infections are a result of infected textiles which often lead to death, the company came up with anti-microbial curtains as a solution. Also making them flame retardants, Window Techs has developed these curtains in association with Trevira GmbH and Holland's G-Rail.
The curtains feature Trevira CS Bio-Active property which reduce the probability of accidents in advance and prevent flames from spreading. Trevira CS Bio-Active is an inherent flame retardant chemical technology which has been combined with anti-microbial effect for significant germ reduction. Window Techs has made use of this technology in polyester fabrics, modifying them to produce these innovative curtains.
"Patient privacy curtains take an important role to prevent infection in healthcare facilities. There is a necessity and expectation for a wide range of textile products finished with Anti-microbial /Anti-fungal and flame retardant properties," explains Shanu Ali, Marketing Manager. "Trevira CS has excellent resistance properties (colour, light, abrasion)."
These curtains also retain their effectiveness even after 100 washes; and these are Oekotex 100 certified. Besides improving hygiene standards, these have high colour brilliance and fastness to light. The curtains are available in fresh colours of green, sky blue, sand, snow and marble.
