Advansa Expands Production Capacity

UENTROP, Germany – Polyester fibre manufacturer, Advansa, has announced some significant investments in its Turkish operations in Adana, expanding the capacity to produce hollow, conjugated, siliconised polyester fibres (HCS) at the facility.

The expansion comes as Advansa responds to a growing demand for HCS polyester fibres from the European furniture and bedding markets. Bjorn Fittje, business manager for Advansa, said, "We are delighted to offer this new HCS fibre quality from Advansa which will complement the company's existing range of branded and high-tech filling fibres. The new product is now commercially available in different deniers and cut lengths and fulfills all expectations in terms of quality, performance and cost competitiveness combined with an excellent service package through our European marketing and technical organization."

Advansa employs 2,000 and operates plants in Turkey and Germany with headquarters located in the Netherlands and sales offices in Turkey, Germany, Spain, Italy and France.
