AMERICAS FILAMENT To Raise Cost of Dacron® Polyester Yarns by Seven to Ten Percent

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – INVISTA business unit AMERICAS FILAMENT announced it will increase the price of Dacron® polyester filament yarns by seven to ten percent beginning February 15.
"Raw material costs have escalated severely over the past two years and are projected to rise further in the months ahead," said Sales Manager Scott Kendrick. "Our business cannot afford to continue to absorb these increases at current filament prices."
AMERICAS FILAMENT manufactures polyester filament fiber for the home furnishings, upholstery, automotive textiles and apparel industries.
