AF&Y Polypropylene Makes Contract Push
January 10, 2005
Chapel Hill, N.C. - American Fibers & Yarns, reportedly the largest global supplier of solution dyed multi filament polypropylene yarns is eyeing the contract hospitality market for further growth according to James Morelli, executive vice president.
We feel we have a great story to tell management of hotel and healthcare projects regarding the lower maintenance aspects of our polypropylene yarns. Morelli pointed to the high resistance to sunlight, flame and bacteria of AF&Y products which are gaining acceptance in the market.
Soap and water is all you need to clean fabrics made with our yarns and chlorine bleach will not affect color or fabric. AF&Y has developed a new line of outdoor fabrics with Wearbest Sil-Tex Mills of Garfield, N.J. as previously reported by Sipco.net. The new line is called Bella Dura™.
