MIAMI BEACH-Griswold Textile Print, Inc., has ceased doing business as a hand screen-printer after 88 years.
Griswold was based in Weslerly, Rhode Island. It was a favorite resource for many high end editeurs in the USA. It has been family-owned and run since 1937. Griswold specialized in contract fabric printing for the decorator and design industries.
Some customers who did work at Griswold are turning to offshore printers, it was learned.
